What Equipment is Required?

Equipment is similar to hockey with a few additions based on age groups. Check out the Equipment page for details.

When does the season start and finish?

The normal season runs mid-April to June 30.  For the 2021 season, this may be adjusted according to public health mandates.

What is the time commitment?

Tyke and miniTyke play once a week. Floor time is split between practice and scrimmage.

Novice and older usually have one game and one practice a week. These may vary at the discretion of the coaching staff/team.

I would like to help coach, how do I sign up?

Awesome!  You can use the contact form to let us know your intent to coach.  We will help with any training you might require! No experience is necessary to help on the floor - everyone is welcome!

Where will we play?

miniTyke - Peewee play in the QCMBL (Regina) league.

miniTyke & Tyke: with enough registrations will play in Lumsden, otherwise will play in Regina

Novice & Peewee: Practice in Lumsden, games played in Regina

How much does it cost to play?

In 2021, fees will be adjusted according to the type of program we can run under the public health orders in April-June. In previous years with a full program, fees were:

  • miniTyke & Tyke: $175

  • Novice: $285

  • Peewee: $375

  • Bantam: $375
